DIESEL ANNOUNCES MORE SOLO & SELECTED DATES!
Heading to Far North Queensland - May 2009

Following his extensive album tour in 2008, Diesel is stripping back into solo mode and heading to far north Queensland to tour his "tailored set" - solo & selected.

On entry, each patron will be given a list of songs spanning from the first album "Johnny Diesel & The Injectors" (1989) to "Days Like These" (2008). Also included are songs from some favourite songwriters. From this list they select a song, the set list then gets formulated for the evening based on their choices.

With a career spanning more than 2 decades and a swag of releases, Diesel's latest offering, "Days Like These" is his eighth studio album. Lauded in the media for the welcome return to his rock 'n' blues roots, it debuted in the top 20 national ARIA chart and top 10 iTunes chart.

'DAYS LIKE THESE' OUT NOW!!

"I think it's officially eight. I'm pretty dead sure of that. I remember thinking it was 2008 and it was my eighth album."
When you've been a part of the musical landscape for almost 20 years, it's easy to lose track.

Introducing, DAYS LIKE THESE - Diesel's eighth studio album; a casual creation born out of studio jams.
"It was just the three of us," says Diesel. "Myself, Richie Vez on bass and Lee Moloney on drums. I kept it really off-the-cuff. I went with the flow, where the style was going when we were jamming."

The songs that emerged from this process are an organic and strong mix of rock, pop, soul and blues. "A new spin on old ground" that's sure to please fans and critics alike.

DAYS LIKE THESE is available in-stores and on-line now!
